Traversing Mud Tip:

What’s the most effective way to traverse mud?

Tip: Lower your tire pressure first.

When you come across a mud bog that you can't get around, remember that the goal isn't just to "floor it!" You'll need to maintain wheel speed and move as slow as possible and as fast as necessary.

Dropping a few extra PSI increases the tire's footprint, allowing the rubber to flex and pop the mud out of the treads as the tire rotates.

We break down the physics of Mud, Ruts, and Soft Ground in the Off Highway Driving Guide in the OGG App.
